Traffic Tantrum — Privacy Policy

The short version

The game itself collects no personal information. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Your settings and your custom driver are saved only on your device.
Lines you type to other drivers are read on your device to pick a reply. They are never sent to us. If your device's built-in text-to-speech voice reads a typed line aloud, your phone or browser's own voice service (for example Google or Apple) processes that text under its own privacy terms.
If the version you play shows ads, they come from Google (AdMob in the apps, AdSense on the website), and Google may collect device information to show and measure them. See "Ads" below. Versions without ads collect nothing for ads.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The game stores these on your device only: sound and graphics settings, profanity level, level choice, your custom driver's look and voice, and whether you've seen the tutorial. You can erase them by clearing the app's data or your browser's site data.

Ads (only in versions that show ads)

Ads are provided by Google (AdMob in the mobile apps, AdSense in the web version). Google may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and similar data to show ads, limit how often you see them, and detect fraud.
If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, we ask your consent before showing personalised ads, using a Google-certified consent tool. You can change your choice anytime under Settings → Privacy choices.
On iPhone, we ask permission before any tracking (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, you still get ads, just not personalised ones.

Versions without ads (including the website demo, for now) show no ads and collect nothing for ads.

Purchases

The full game is sold only through Google Play and the Apple App Store, and they handle the payment. We never see your card details. We do not sell anything on our website.

Children

Traffic Tantrum is for players 17 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data Google collects for ads, use Google's tools: https://myadcenter.google.com. Canadians can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; Quebec residents, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for big changes, show a notice in the game.
